Point Clear
Hop on our ferry to Point Clear and enjoy a 2km half hour ramble along the St Osyth Sea wall or the St Osyth/Point Clear Coastal 6km walk.
Halfway through the walk you will discover St Osyth Boatyard which has been a port since 1214. It is now a working boat yard restoring Thames barges with numerous house boats to see.
Either one should be finished with a drink at the Ferryboat Inn or grab a cuppa and a slice of cake at T & Cake café before returning to Brightlingsea.
Perfect for dog walks and rambling groups.

East Mersea
Hop on our ferry to East Mersea and be dropped off at the edge of Cudmore Grove Country Park. Cudmore Grove is a nature reserve of over 102 acres of amazing coastal landscapes, heritage overlooking the Colne and Blackwater Estuaries. From coastal walks or a ramble through the park enjoy seeing and hearing an abundance of wildlife to discovering the rich historic features including WW11 pillboxes to admiring the ancient prehistoric geology that has produced 300,00 year old fossils.

Brightlingsea
Download our 3 circular walks which includes the Rope Walk along the creek or along the promenade taking in the glorious seafront. Passing the classic 1930's Lido which has a lovely cafe and Batemans Tower built in 1833.
