As summer season approached, Brightlingsea Harbour worked hard to ensure we launched two new boat trips for 2024 that we are confident you will enjoy!

Be the first to experience these spectacular trips!

Firstly, we launched the boat trip to The Anchor in Rowhedge. Where you can enjoy a delicious pub lunch right on the banks of the River Colne. For this trip, you will board the trip from Brightlingsea on our very own electric boat “Colne Innovation”. Sit back relax and enjoy a cruise up river passing Wivenhoe and the Colne Barrier before berthing at the Anchor where you will sit down and enjoy a scrumptious main meal which is included in the price of the trip!

Have you ever had the opportunity to have Afternoon Tea on a barge?

After lots of time planning and preparing for this brand-new trip, we are super excited to announce we will now be offering a trip which takes you up the picturesque creek to St Osyth Boatyard from Brightlingsea Harbour. This trip is perfect for all you Afternoon Tea lovers. You will hop aboard an historic Thames Sailing Barge “Bread & Roses” moored at the boatyard for Afternoon Tea below deck in a unique setting.
